Vietnam and Brazil have strengthened bilateral trade and commercial relations through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between two leading business promotion organizations.
The agreement was formalized by the Brazil–Vietnam Chamber of Commerce (BVC) and the EspÃrito Santo chapter of the Brazil–Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCBV-ES), with support from the Vietnamese Embassy in Brazil.
The MoU aims to deepen cooperation and broaden business opportunities for companies from both nations.
The signing ceremony, held in São Paulo on Saturday, was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi and Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in Brazil Pham Hong Trang, along with leaders and members of both chambers.

Under the agreement, both sides committed to enhancing coordination in supporting businesses, organizing trade promotion delegations, exchanging strategic market information, and carrying out initiatives to promote bilateral business development.
Ambassador Nghi underscored the vital role of cooperation among trade promotion organizations in strengthening Vietnam–Brazil economic ties.
He noted that stronger coordination between the chambers would directly boost business linkages and deliver concrete results, contributing to the growth of trade and investment between the two nations.
BVC President Victor Key said the MoU represents more than a symbolic act, describing it as a long-term commitment to linking networks, exchanging expertise, and turning opportunities into tangible initiatives.

Meanwhile, CCBV-ES President Bernard Vassas emphasized that Brazil–Vietnam cooperation should extend beyond trade to include areas such as culture and sports, fostering deeper mutual understanding and supporting a sustainable, long-term partnership.
Following the signing, the two chambers are expected to collaborate on trade promotion initiatives, joint events, and establish a shared agenda to further strengthen Vietnam–Brazil economic and trade ties.
