Pakistan opened its pavilion at the Big 5 Global 2025 exhibition in Dubai on Monday, presenting a range of building materials and construction technologies as Gulf states continue rapid expansion in infrastructure and real estate.
The annual event is one of the world’s largest gatherings for the construction industry, drawing companies involved in supply chains, urban development, infrastructure design, and facilities management.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia remain major growth markets for construction inputs, creating opportunities for export-oriented manufacturers from countries such as Pakistan. Participation in the exhibition provides firms with access to regional procurement networks and long-term buyers.

At the inauguration, Pakistan’s consul general in Dubai, Hussain Muhammad, said nine companies were participating under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.
“Pakistani companies are presenting a diverse range of products and services, including electric cables, lighting solutions, PVC pipes, U-PVC windows and doors, aluminum architecture, and laminated boards,” he said in a statement issued by his office after opening the pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Center.
He added that the event offers a premier platform for exhibitors to promote innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement within the building materials and construction sector.

Pakistan’s trade mission in the UAE described the exhibition as an important avenue for tapping into regional and global markets.
Trade Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan highlighted the export potential, noting that the UAE provides “excellent opportunities for Pakistani firms to connect with international buyers, explore new markets, and contribute to Pakistan’s export growth.”
Pakistan’s participation in this year’s Big 5 Global is part of a wider effort to strengthen its role in the regional construction supply chain and support export diversification as the country works to boost foreign exchange earnings.
